Efficacy / Effect
1. Relief of symptoms or signs of osteoarthritis (degenerative arthritis)
2. Alleviation of symptoms or signs of rheumatoid arthritis
3. Relief of symptoms and signs of ankylosing spondylitis
4. Acute pain relief for adults (post-surgery, post-extraction pain)
5. Primary dysmenorrhea
Usage · Dosage
The minimum recommended amount of this drug should be adjusted according to the patient, and it can be administered regardless of meals.
○ Adult:
1. Osteoarthritis (degenerative arthritis): As celecoxib, take 200 mg once a day, or 100 mg once a day, divided into two times a day.
2. Rheumatoid arthritis: As celecoxib, take 100 mg or 200 mg twice a day.
3. Ankylosing spondylitis (AS): As celecoxib, administer 200 mg once a day, or divide and administer 100 mg twice a day. If no effect is observed after 6 weeks, doses up to 400 mg per day may be used. If no effect is observed after 6 weeks of 400 mg daily administration, other treatment options should be considered.
4. Acute pain and primary dysmenorrhea: The initial recommended dose is 400 mg as celecoxib, and if necessary, an additional 200 mg is administered on the first day of administration. From the second day of administration, if necessary, administer 200 mg twice a day as a recommended dose.
○ Patients with hepatic impairment
: For patients with moderate hepatic impairment (Child-Pugh Class II), the dose should be reduced to approximately 50% of the recommended daily amount.
